Join us on our next adventure! We will be travelling to London and a beautiful part of the English countryside for 12 days of deep inner work through the study of the mythic writings of C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolkien. For six months prior to leaving we will study the work of Joseph Campbell, the writings of the authors above, watch the movies pertaining to these great authors, and start understanding the difference between our mythic life story that points to the profound truth of who we are and the stories we have told ourselves that take us further away from the truth of who we are. We will be spending three days in London at the lovely Royal Foundation of St. Katherine on the Thames. From here we will explore London, steeped in the drama of centuries of myth making. We will then be leaving for the main part of the trip to stay at Charney Manor, the basis of which was built between 1250 and 1280 situated in the countryside of Berkshire – in easy distance of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as Stratford-on-Avon all of which we will be visiting for day excursions, including a Shakespeare play (to be determined). As always, our days will start with Kundalini Yoga and end with group sessions, teaching and meditation. There will be the opportunity for individual work and consultations with any of the group leaders. There will be plenty of time for you to use for your own walks, journaling and meditation.
