All uniformed service members are welcome to register for FREE.

This is a 1-day retreat to introduce uniformed service members to alternative and complementary ideas and concepts to assist in healing from trauma. Everyday uniformed service members are exposed to traumatic and life changing events. During this retreat, we will explore mindfulness based stress reduction, guided meditation, and contemplative silent reflection techniques and how it relates to healing from trauma. We will introduce exercises to replenish and honor the mind, body and spirit. Not everything will be sitting still as we will use mindful movement as another doorway to reconnect and heal. Come with an open mind and open heart and experience what is possible.
A light lunch will be provided. Please dress comfortably and in layers as the temperature of the room (and you) may vary throughout the day.
This event sponsored by Silent Warrior Project. The Silent Warrior Project is a non-profit organization that serves uniformed service members (military, police, firefighters, and first responders) who struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma.
Founded in 2016, we host spiritual retreats for uniformed service members and provide tools to help them reduce stress through a daily practice of mindfulness meditation and contemplative prayer and other complementary and alternative healing modalities. By helping veterans fully re-engage in their lives and be present with their loved ones, we can bring about hope. And healing.
