Background
Josette received her MSW (Master of Social Work) from Widener University in PA in 2021. She is licensed by the state of Minnesota as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker).
Josette has specialized outpatient clinical experience working with adult individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and those affected by Autism Spectrum Conditions (Level 1), ADHD, AuDHD, and mood disorders. Josette utilizes multiple models of care including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and has completed specialized training in trauma treatment methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Anchored Relational Therapy (formerly known as AIR Network), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Josette identifies as neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQ community and works to be a source of healing for others in these communities.
