Navigating daily life in our current world can be challenging. Add to that the inherent struggles and demands that can come with being a teen or young adult right now, and it’s no wonder you’re feeling overwhelmed. School may feel burdensome, interacting with your peers may feel terrifying, learning to live on your own for the first time may feel impossible, perhaps all the while feeling a sense of pressure that you need to “figure out” the rest of your life. As a therapist, I believe that every individual has within themselves the potential to conquer these challenges; sometimes what’s needed is just a space free from judgment and expectation to untangle it all.

My goal is to cultivate a calm, warm, and welcoming therapeutic relationship that, in turn, allows you the space to gain insight into your inner world and confront the challenges in your life. I believe that by gaining a better understanding of who you are and what you value, you’ll be able to discover a sense of inherent potential that you may have never realized was there. Utilizing your unrealized potential can allow you to live the life of purpose you’ve always wanted.

I specialize in providing individual psychotherapy services to teens and young adults who suffer from anxiety, challenges with self-esteem, and difficulties with personal identity and one’s place in the world. I also have a passion for helping adults of any age navigate various life transitions, such as moving away from home, “empty nesting,” retirement or career changes, and issues of aging.
