We’re offering THREE retreat opportunities in 2020 with the theme “The Call of the Mountains.” We’ll use the symbol of the mountains and how they speak to all of us, and to all the mystics of all time. These experiences are for all those who want the external beauty and adventure and are up for the hard work of the inner journey at the same time. We know that it is not possible for most people to do everything, so we are offering four retreats to try to accommodate everyone that wants to have one of these amazing experiences: 1.) International: Avila, Spain, April 2 – 14, 2020, Cost - $4495 2.) Local: Fall Retreat at St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, September 3–8, 2020, Cost - $1995 3.) International: Drakensberg Mountains, South Africa, October 16-31, 2020, Cost - $5495
These workshops will give you an overview of the evolution of consciousness as manifested in creation and humanity from the Big Bang to the present. You will be provided with a comprehensive map with which to understand evolution in consciousness in any human life across cultures. We will explore the different stages and states of consciousness and identify markers of each stage and state in order to more accurately assess where we and our clients are on the journey. We will learn what specific mind, body and spirit practices are applicable to each stage and state in order to facilitate awakening to greater potential, both in yourselves and others. We will explore how to transcend the mundane ego functioning of habitual patterns of defense, leave behind anxiety and shame, guilt and anger and live a life of expanded consciousness, light and freedom, compassion and wisdom. We will give you an overview of stages and states of consciousness and focus on the mind, body, spirit practices that facilitate transcending ego functioning.
Other Training Opportunities
Aspects of Consciousness Forums with Lyndall Johnson and Charisse Lyons. Do we clean up debris in our consciousness or do we transform our inner relationship to it? Through inner relational transformation, we can change the course of history – internally and externally. We will look at how shame creates disturbance in our inner wave of consciousness and distracts us from a life of Love and Truth. We will examine how this then translates into external disturbances of every kind that is leading to the death of our planet.
In a culture that is death phobic the notion of midwifing death is novel. We prepare for birth with many preparations, rituals and intentions. A midwife is a facilitator of transition. It is possible to prepare for death in the same way as we do for the birth of a child. Join us in exploring transformative approaches for being with dying. Learn about the stages of physical death, as well as the energetic and transformational signposts along the way. Learn skills and spiritual practices for easing the transition of death, and the use of ritual and specific practices to be used at the time of death and after.

Mindfulness is a fundamental component of creativity and meditation practice as well as being widely recognized in the psychological community as an excellent tool for alleviating stress and all the problems that accompany it. We will talk about creativity as a natural outpouring of mindfulness and mindfulness as essential to cultivating a creative life. Each week there will be a teaching followed by a practical application and experience of mindfulness. This series will help us develop creative day-to-day mindfulness practices so that we more deeply experience and enjoy our precious and fleeting lives.

Spiritual traditions advise us to obey a still, quiet voice inside us; an inner authority. In order for us to discern what that is, we must examine how authority shows up in our lives and how to tell what is real and what is not. This four-week series will examine the nature of true authority and false authority in both the external and internal worlds and explore how we can bring about more conscious contact with that which is most deeply authentic in ourselves and others… encountering the real. Join us for this exploration! Four Wednesdays in September, with Lyndall Johnson and Bussho Lahn.
